My Trip to the Park

I was zipping down the road on my roller blades in the fresh summer air. Bethany, and a few others were with me as we made our way to the park. We were almost there. Suddenly I see flashing lights and hear sirens behind me. I see my long shadow in front of me as I slow to a stop. A police car pulls up behind us. It was the third time it had happened that day. What were we doing wrong now? We just wanted to go to the park. A policeman who looked like a Native American with bad teeth wearing a Hawaiian shirt hops out of the car and starts asking us which dentist we went to. Talk about random! I looked at the shiny car and thought to myself "Well, at least this will make an interesting blog post."

When I woke up from the bazaar dream, I decided that it still would.

I'm afraid that my life hasn't been as exciting as it is in my sleep. However, cool things are still happening. I'm still taking flute lessons, which is a lot of fun, going to a home-schooled speech class with some friends, enjoying the beautiful spring weather, and much more that I can't think of at the moment. I know, it really doesn't beat being pulled over by a police man with crooked teeth, but it's good enough for me.

This morning Bethany and Paul stopped over and told us that the house inspection went well. Paul is happy because it means he doesn't have to fix up a crummy house on weekends. So now they can dedicate their time to more important things like hanging out with us! I can't wait until they move in.
