- Sew a skirt
- Write and publish at least three best-sellers
- Learn to play piano and perform at Carnegie Hall
- Become a voice for an animated character at Pixar
- Learn to safely operate a flying helicopter (just in case of emergency)
- Write some songs and record my first album
- Save four lives (or a whole bus full of terrified children)
- Learn to speak Portuguese and work as a translator
I like my list. It looks doable. Well...all except the sewing part. That might be too much. From what I have experienced, Needle + Thread = Torture. Seriously. Trying to sew a whole skirt might stretch what I am capable of doing. Still, I will do my best.
So, what are you guy's planning on doing this year?
Great list! Making resolution lists are always fun!! Especially when you get to check some things off ;)
ReplyDeleteWELL! Let me tell YOU what I'm doing this year. First of all I'm going to go to work for Mr. President doing some of his most top secret work and all that. Secondly I'm going to be a stunt woman for the next Hunger Games movie. Thirdly I'm going to win first place in a dirt biking competition. Fourthly I'm going to go dumpster diving.
ReplyDeleteAnd Fifthly I'm going to climb Mt. Everest and plant an avocado.
6. Then I'm going to sail a ship across the Atlantic.
7. I'm also going to promote recycling for whales.
8. I'm going to run from Rhode Island to California.
9. I am then going to drive through McDonald's and buy an extra large Diet Coke, because I'll be thirsty.
10. After that I'm going to go to bed, because I'll probably be tired.
So, that's what I'll be doing this year. Maybe, after I've saved a few whales, I could fit in some time to see you perform at Carnegie Hall.
Well, got to run!

Mt. Everest sounds fun. If you're going to plant an avocado, may I tag along and plant a banana or something?
ReplyDeleteHow's the list coming, Emmers? ;)
